Who do you think I was talking about? Some guy?? Guys can wait. Music-on-the-go cannot. Ever since my headphones to the mobile went and gave up on me, I've been music-on-the-go deprived. The Horror!! He had me at 'hello'. OK maybe not 'hello'. He arrived while I was sleeping, but still it was at the door when I first laid my eyes on him.
He is everything I could ask for in a...device. He plays all the songs I want. Organises them to my taste. Store my photos of my other darlings. Best of all, I can watch movies on-the-go too. Bliss.
So far the days has been going slow. Susan, William and Sharon has arrived safely a few days ago. And now just a couple of days more, my dearest Lin will return too. If only the others could return too.
Work so far has been shitty. It all boils down to one person. Hel**. One of the owners. Geeze. That. Woman. Really. Has. A. Stick. Up. Her. Ass. Not that she has a personal vendetta against me. Just against my manager. Somehow every time HE is on duty, she manages to come and make all of us stay extra longer to clean the whole damn freaking store. I just happened to be on duty the same day as HE. But it has yet to happened to the other managers. I feel for that guy.
After two weeks of five days work in a row, I finally got more days off this week and manage to clean up my room and put a touch of me in it. I've organised my wardrobe, which appeared to be more than I expected. But I still have a feeling of nothing to wear out when ever I take a look in it. My notice board is finally looking like a notice board.
Need to get a going at that wine bottle. Which means more cooking at home to be done. Since Carolyn has gone back too. That means less eating out for me for the next couple of weeks. Gotto brush up on my culinary skills.
Finally filled up my cookie jar.
The cookie jar finally has cookies or should I say biscotti in it. After being a candy jar for most of its life I thought that this might be a change. Well...it is still a candy jar. The Skittles are still in it. With a bunch of Malteasers. I had a sugar craving and had to drop by the candy store. Guilty. However, I do have some healthy snacks in it too. Vitabites biscuits. Though only a few left.
Counting down till Uni starts. Dread and anticipation. What a feeling.
