Seriously...these kind of people...

It is expected that when you attend university, one is able to study or do their research on their own. And yet some how, people now still need to be spoon fed. Why is it that one cannot work on their own assignment on with their own effort but needing to 'review/refer' to someone who has taken the subject before (i.e. me). They even have the cheek to ask me to mail the whole assignment! Geeze~! I know I'm not suppose to stereotype people here, but 'these' kind of people really solidifies the stereotyping people associate them with.

It all boils down to plain laziness. Have they not heard of plagerism? I can show the the way but not walk with them. Sigh...you all are in your second or final year, have you not already learned something?

idiots...

*Found a new group call Mondo Diao. Yeah weird name, I know. They sound like a mixture of Franz Ferdinand and The Stokes. Hope to hear more from them soon.*

A very special day for a very special someone...

To my dearest friends who have just turned a certain age. Happy Birthdays.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Last Saturday, Lin and I went to Meat Wine and Co. for a dinner in celebration of her birthday and to catch up with old times. Oh what memories. We should do this often :)

Moomba festival was on at the same time and was added bonus that we got to try one of the extreme rides. Think about being shot into space (sky) in a metal ball cage in just a few seconds? Then the ride 'Sling Shot' is a must. The funny thing was, Lin thought my shoe flew off while mid air. LOL. Poor people down there to have a shoe flying into their faces without any notice XD. But sadly no, I took of my shoe before the ride, as a precaution not to loose it in mid air.

Dinner was held at Meat, Wine and Co. which was recommended to me by another foodie lover. Was a bit dissapointed being seated near the main walkway for waiter, waitresses and mainly everybody who dines at Meat, Wine and Co. *grumble grumble*

we started out with an entrée of Houlumi Cheese sandwitching a salad of rocket leaves and grilled peppers and other vegetables with blasamic vinegar dressing

Accompanying the meals, we each had a glass of wine. Lin had a Pinot something (I forgot :p) and I had a Catching Thieves Rosé

The Main
Lin had a New Yorker with Hot Chilli sauce (it taste amaizing!!! and it was spicey - think of ye-old-Malaysian style pan mee chilli sauce - considering that this was a western restaurant) and Cream of Mushroom and steamed vegetables. How did the waiter pronounce vegetable again Lin? lol.
On the other hand, I had a humongous T-bone steak O.o
The Blue Cheese and Vodka sauce was excellent. How I miss Marks and Spencer's Blue Cheese Dressing. Wish they have a chain here in Australia. It goes soooo well with vegetables and meat.

This was later followed by....dessert of course!

Dessert was Chocolate and Hazelnut tart with blood orange sorbet.
The sorbet was excellant and Lin mentioned that Trampoline on Swanston St(?) has the flavour. *Reminder...must go and have a scoop of blood orange sorbet...soon again*
The tart was very nice, had dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate but the crust of the tart was confusing??? does not taste like pastry but has texture of pastry. Hmmm....
Tried the orange slice that I think was just a decoration and it tasted like marmalade/candied orange.

And thus ends my present to Lin
